Auto Top-Up
Auto Top-Up
Section titled “Auto Top-Up”Auto Top-Up is a feature that automatically adds extra API credits to your account when your available credits drop below a certain threshold. This ensures your API requests continue without interruption, preventing downtime in your applications.
Key Components
Section titled “Key Components”- Credit Threshold — When your remaining credits fall below this value, a top-up will be triggered.
- Top-Up Amount — The number of credits to be added when the threshold is reached.
- Automatic Billing — The cost for each top-up is automatically billed to your saved payment method.
Benefits
Section titled “Benefits”- No Interruptions: Your API requests will never be blocked due to insufficient credits
- Automatic Management: No need to manually monitor your credit balance
- Immediate Billing: Top-up credits are billed immediately when the threshold is reached
- Flexible Settings: You can adjust your threshold and top-up amount at any time
How to Enable Auto Top-Up
Section titled “How to Enable Auto Top-Up”Step 1: Access Developer Settings
Section titled “Step 1: Access Developer Settings”Navigate to your SlideSpeak Developer Dashboard and locate the “Auto Top-Up Settings” section.
Step 2: Configure Your Settings
Section titled “Step 2: Configure Your Settings”- Toggle the Auto Top-Up switch to enable the feature
- Set your desired credit threshold — choose when you want the top-up to trigger
- Select the top-up credit amount from the available options
- Click “Save changes” to activate Auto Top-Up
Step 3: Verify Your Payment Method
Section titled “Step 3: Verify Your Payment Method”Ensure you have a valid payment method saved to your account. Auto top-ups will be charged to this payment method.
Managing Auto Top-Up
Section titled “Managing Auto Top-Up”Adjusting Settings
Section titled “Adjusting Settings”You can modify your auto top-up settings at any time:
- Change the credit threshold
- Update the top-up amount
- Disable the feature entirely
Monitoring Usage
Section titled “Monitoring Usage”- Track your auto top-up usage in your billing history
- Monitor your credit balance in the developer dashboard
Disabling Auto Top-Up
Section titled “Disabling Auto Top-Up”You can disable auto top-up at any time:
- Go to your Developer Dashboard
- Toggle off the Auto Top-Up switch
- Click “Save changes”
Once disabled, you’ll no longer be able to automatically top-up your credits when your balance runs low.
